Job Introduction

Purpose of the Post

Dolphin Homes Ltd are looking for a Cook, who can plan and prepare calorie controlled meals for people, at Kingfisher Court, our home based in North Baddesley, Southampton. 

A genuine desire and interest in preparing and providing interesting, healthy, and tasty meals on a regular basis.

 Knowledge of IDDSI is essential

The Role & Responsibilities

The Cook needs to be confident in purchasing groceries and stock control/rotation, be able to plan and publish meals ahead of time and, prepare meals in readiness for the days the Head Chef is not on rota.

Skills & Experience Requirements

You will have to demonstrate that you have the appropriate skills knowledge and experience in:

• Food preparations, particularly calorie controlled menu
• Food Hygiene & Control
• Wise purchasing, food storage and rotation
• Ability to provide against a set timetable of breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Experience of IDDSI essential
