We support adults with mental health needs and complex presentations to live independently within their own homes, while receiving tailored support in a safe and structured environment.

The service provides a unique model of support where individuals live in their own flats but benefit from on-site staff support. What is a Support Worker?

A Support Worker plays a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to live independently within their own flat. The role is dynamic and person-centred, focusing on promoting recovery and building resilience.

You will provide both practical and emotional support, helping individuals to:

• Manage their mental health and wellbeing
• Maintain their tenancy and daily routines
• Develop independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, cleaning)
• Access community resources, education, or employment opportunities
• Build confidence, self-esteem, and social connections
• Some people may need support with personal care

This role requires a proactive, patient, and empathetic approach, as you will be supporting individuals through both stable periods and times of increased need.
