Important Requirement – Training Commitment

All Bank staff are required to attend and complete mandatory face-to-face training as part of their role.

This includes:

  • Safeguarding
  • Medication administration
  • Moving and handling
  • Mental health and behavioural support
  • First aid
  • Proact SCIP

You must be able to commit to attending in-person training and refresher sessions, as this is essential to working safely across our services.

 

What is a Bank Support Worker?

A Bank Support Worker provides flexible cover across multiple services. This role requires adaptability, reliability, and a strong person-centred approach.

You will provide both practical and emotional support, helping individuals to:

  • Maintain independence within residential or supported living settings
  • Manage their mental health and wellbeing
  • Develop life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and tenancy management
  • Access the community, education, or employment
  • Build confidence, relationships, and social networks
  • Support people with personal care needs where needed
  • Support people on activities such as gym, swimming, shopping, cinema, holidays and many more
